Adding users to your team

While Sirap.io can be used solo, its true potential emerges when you collaborate with others.

Whether you’re planning a trip with your spouse to Italy, managing school activities with a group of parents, or coordinating tasks with a larger team at work, Sirap.io can streamline your processes.

To add a team member, navigate to Team settings (keyboard shortcut: 6) in the Menu bar.

Note: you need to have the Role of Owner or Administrator to be able to add team members

This opens up the Team settings page:

To add a new team member, click on 'Add team member'.

In the modal that appears, enter the new team member’s email address in the provided input field. If you want the new user to become an administrator of the team, select the corresponding option.

Note: Administrators of Sirap.io teams have superpowers, use them wisely! Only a small number of users need to be administrators.

If the newly added user is already a member of another Sirap.io team in the same region, they’ll receive a notification in their Sirap.io home page and an email informing them of an invitation to join a new team. Subsequently, they’ll have the option to either accept or reject the invitation. It’s important to note that the user won’t be added to the new team until they’ve accepted the invitation.

On the other hand, if the newly added user is a fresh face to Sirap.io, they’ll be sent an email inviting them to join. Once they’ve successfully signed up, they’ll be added to the team.

In both cases, until the user accepts the invitation, they’ll be listed on the Team settings page as ‘Pending users’.
