This view lets your team create multiple Kanban-style boards. The key components of a board are:
Items (or 'cards'): Represent individual tasks or work items.
Lists (or 'columns'): Represent different stages of the workflow (e.g., To Do, In Progress, Done).
In Sirap.io, you and your team can create as many boards as you like, and the same item can appear on multiple boards. Within a single board, however, an item can only appear once.
You populate your board's lists by dragging and dropping them from the Items view into the list you want to populate. Once added to a list, items can be moved freely between the lists and also removed from the board. Click on an item to show that item in the Item preview.
Kanban boards are visual tools used for project management. They help to:
Visualize workflow: display tasks in different stages of completion, making it easy to see the progress of work.
Limit work-in-progress: By setting limits on the number of tasks in each stage, boards help teams focus on completing tasks before starting new ones.
Improve efficiency: Boards can help identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in the workflow.
Boards are a great way for your team to use when discussing things like the next phase, daily stand-ups, what we're doing this week, what we need to do now versus what can wait, etc.
If an item property changes — e.g. if the status is set to 'Closed' or the assignee is changed— then all boards where that item appears are automatically updated.
Hence, Sirap.io's boards are always up to date and represent the latest status of the items.
