This view collects all the information you and your team have for each item.
The items list view is where you can view and work with all the items — i.e. chunks of work — that you and your team members collect over time. The items list view remains visible throughout many of the other views as well because of the split screen view.
The relative size of the item view (which is on the left-hand side, by default) relative to the view on the right (by default), including the item preview, calendar, boards, and other views that use the split screen view) can be changed by grabbing and dragging the gutter between the views.
A basic workflow in Sirap.io is that you collect and organize items in the item list view, and drag and drop items from this view into other views, such as the calendar or the boards.
The items in the items view are organized by Workspace. Click on a workspace heading to expand and contract the workspace to reduce clutter and create more space.
When you hover over a workspace heading, more options become available:
These options allow you to Edit the workspace and Add an item to this workspace.
In the item list view, you can:
Click on an item to show the item in item preview.
Right-click on an item to bring up the Context menu, which allows you to edit item properties such as status, priority, project, and assignee.
Drag and drop an item onto another item to create a Group, which is a parent-child relation between two or more items. Groups allow you to develop further hierarchical structure in a workspace by collecting items that belong together or depend on each other.
Drag and drop an item onto another workspace heading to move the item to that workspace (Note that if you drag and drop an item from one workspace onto an item in another workspace, they will form a group but the dragged item will not change workspace)
The Items view has a Toolbar that provides quick access to some common tasks related to item management.
From here, you can (from left to right):
View and change your current Category
Create an item (keyboard shortcut: +
) or add a new workspace (keyboard shortcut: Shift-W
)
Search (keyboard shortcut: /
)
Show the Quick history modal that lets you access and search previously viewed items (keyboard shortcut: Shift-Q)
Filter items in the current items list view by text appearing in the item title (keyboard shortcut: .
)
Show and hide Closed issues (keyboard shortcut: Shift-H
)
Open the Filter panel (keyboard shortcut: F
)
Open Settings and options... (keyboard shortcut: ~
)
Below the items in each workspace are two buttons that (on the left-hand side) allow you to add an item to this workspace. Just click on the '+' button and start typing the title of the new item. This allows you to rapidly add multiple items.
Click the '=' button on the right-hand side to access Sirap.io's powerful sorting and pagination features.
Here, you can change how many items will appear on a single page before pagination kicks in, as well as how you want the items to be sorted. The default is by date added, with newest items appearing at the top of the list, but there are many more options, including by name, due date, and assignee. To alter the order of the list, click on the Sort order button.
